As the ringette season winds down, and we get ready for the arrival of spring, it is time to plan for what to do in the “off season”.   I would like to invite you to consider girls softball for your daughter(s).   Baseball/softball has always been an excellent counter season activity for the winter ice sports, helping athletes to improve hand-eye coordination while nurturing their competitive spirit - and enjoying the warm outdoors!   All three of my ringette players enjoy playing softball in the summer. 

 

North London Girls Softball Association (NLGSA) offers softball specifically for girls aged 8 through 20.  We play locally within London and the neighbouring communities (Dorchester, Ilderton and Delaware) as part of the Community Softball League (CSL).  Registration for our upcoming 2020 season is now open and we are accepting new players at all age levels.   

 

Softball is an excellent companion sport to ringette, and we greatly appreciate the support and partnership provided by London Ringette.
