Coaches / Bench Staff Registration
All Coaches and Bench Staff for 2019/20 are required to register.
Your own professional development and leadership skills will be of great benefit to your team.
There are a lot of changes coming to coaching and team bench staffs over the next few seasons
that we require everyone to be aware of so you can begin to plan accordingly.
Please specifically note the change of Qualification Date. In the past qualifications were required by January 8 of the playing season by ORA but this date has now been moved up to November 1, 2019. So we require your Goalline registration by Oct 9, 2019 so we can verify and ensure you have the correct qualifications.
1) Managers for all teams must be properly qualified by November 1 of the playing season.
2) Team managers will no longer be permitted on the bench for U14AA, U16AA and U19AA during competition effective in the 2018-19 season.
3) All provincial level coaches must be qualified by November 1. CI Certification deadline is January 15. Qualifications can be found on the Coaching Pathways on the ORA website.
4) New U12 regional coaches have the option to take a CSI or CI coaching clinic, noting if they wish to continue coaching that the CI qualification will be required for U14-U19.
2019-2020 Season
1) U12P and U14A level: a qualified female head or assistant coach must be on the bench staff for all sanctioned events by November 1, 2019.
2020-2021 Season
1) By November 1, 2020, all U9-U19 teams must have a qualified and dedicated Trainer on their bench. The Trainer must be present for all competitions.
2) U16A and U19A level: a qualified female head or assistant coach must be on the bench staff for all sanctioned events by November 1, 2020.
